Welcome!

I am the President and Founder of Shaheen & Associates, and I have had the privilege of working with our valued clients and assisting them in managing their telecom spend for almost thirty years.

In 1988, I relocated from Chicago to New York and started Shaheen & Associates as a telecommunications consultant project manager. One of my responsibilities was to ensure that installed services were correctly billed, in accordance with terms of the new contracts. Over time, it became very apparent that telecom vendors’ billing systems were inadequate and unable to produce standardized billing, as invoices were filled with errors. I decided to expand the consulting business to include auditing vendor invoices. Since then, we’ve been able to help hundreds of clients earn back the money that was incorrectly over-billed and recommend cost-saving solutions to operate more efficient businesses.

What I find most unique about Shaheen is our corporate culture, and I’m extremely proud of the work that our employees display day-in and day-out. All Shaheen & Associate’s employees are 100% dedicated to helping our clients resolve their telecom challenges. Hiring the most qualified, devoted person results in the best quality of work. Employees are compensated accordingly, and we have extremely low turn-over.

I’m very proud of the fact that Shaheen & Associates is a women-owned and operated business. We’ve been certified by WBENC, Massachusetts, New York, Virginia, and New York City. Networking and collaborating with fellow WBEs has been a particularly rewarding experience. While these credentials are beneficial to our clients, I’m particularly proud of the example Shaheen & Associates represents to countless women entrepreneurs.

At our firm, the prevailing goal is to do the best work that we possibly can in order to help our clients optimize their telecommunication systems and reduce their spend. Persistence, dedication, and intelligence will always be required for that mission.
